So, as I have been lazy on posting, today is the day that I turn over a new leaf....
Meet Savannah my newest Preemie baby... This baby, along with all of my Preemie's, is heavily weighted, about 17" long with the look and feel of being realistic... She is heavily sculpted in her face, body and limbs. She is a delicate baby and not intended for children as her head and limbs are floopy and will need supporting as with a real baby.
This baby came out so much better than I had expected... I just love the bald look!!! Look at those little fists! OMG!!! I was so excited as I was sculpting! And it only got better as I started the tiny toes. But after I completed the head and started the facial features, I knew I was working on that "special" baby!!!!
I had so much fun playing with her after she was complete... (Honestly, my favorite part of being a doll artist/designer is the fact that I get to play with baby dolls with me being a grown woman!!! hehehehe) I got to change her clothes into numerous outfits, style her hair, have a photo shoot and so forth!

She will come to you dressed in a outfit, diaper and magnetic paci. And she will have that baby powder smell as with a real baby... If you're not careful, you will forget that she is a doll and not a real baby!!!!
