So, last year I created these cute little rag style type of doll. I was thinking they would be a big hit for the Christmas season....
WRONG!!!
I only sold/took orders for about four. So, feeling totally aggravated, I set the pattern aside, and removed the custom order from all my sites!!!
So, here it is a year later... I haven't taken that pattern out, nor have I posted about my Lolli Babies or mentioned them what so ever. But, I always keep my photos of all of my babies up in my facebook , facebook page and flickr. I do occasionally go back and scan through my previous babies I've made in the past. Whenever I get to the Lolli Babies, I just pass them on by.... But, not everyone passes them on by. Because that's how I got the orders. My customers are faithful, and they must remember my past babies, or they've just been going through my past babies to have found them... I don't know, I'm just so happy they've returned to my list of favorites....
So, only this week, I have received four custom orders for my Lolli Babies for Christmas gifts!!! I was totally shocked when the first one came through. Thrilled by the second one. And by the fourth one, I am so happy to be making them again!!!
Now, needlessly to say, my beloved Lolli Babies in back to being posted again and back in the listings.. I just love these little babies.. They are so cuddly soft and I just love the look of them!!! I should have named these little babies my Christmas babies because I truly believe they would make a child a wonderful Christmas gift!!!!
