I've been thinking about this for a while now.... A cloth version of the vintage Bye Lo doll.... I had one as a child and loved it!!! I'm wondering if I could pull it off? What are y'all's thoughts???
How should I do the hair? Paint hair onto the head? Or use a little mohair and glue onto the head? I think the craft fur will be to thick for the look I'm wanting to achieve. Or maybe I could use watercolor pencils... Hmmm... So many possibilities! Any ideas???
The pictures above are just examples of a original Bye-Lo baby. But I can use them as a guide.
I'm going to love making the dress though. Especially now that I have a new sewing machine. I've been itching to test out the capabilities of this baby!!! Maybe I'll make an heirloom quality christening gown... We shall see!!! I'll update as soon as I'm ready to start this journey....
