Fleece Quilts, Lizzie's Keepsakes, Lizzie Gibson

So in between working on babies, this year I decided to make my family and some friends fleece quilts for Christmas.... I started back in August and here it is only a moth from Christmas and I still have 2 left to finish!!!  These quilts measure about 65x52 approximately.  They are so soft to the touch and so warm on those cold winter nights!!!

                          HOPE YOU ENJOY!

This first quilt is a peace sign quilt with pink swirls for my daughter Emily...

This quilt is a purple star quilt with purple leopard print for my daughter Angel. It's a patchwork quilt with about 323 squares.

This is an Alabama Roll Tide quilt I made for my daughter Tiffany. Along with the hounds tooth fabric, it also has 3 other Alabama fabrics.

This quilt is for a friend of my hubby's.  It is a Native American print and a solid teal.

This fishing quilt with solid green is for my son, Man. This quilt was hard for me to make as I HATE the color green. It seriously burned my eyes making it. Maybe HATE is too soft of a word that I can use to describe green!  As you can see my lines aren't perfect. I blame it on that aweful color!!!!

This quilt is for another friend of my hubby's.  It is also Native American print with teal.

This Louisiana Saints quilt I made for my dear hubby. Joey has been begging me for it seems like years for a Saints quilt.  Even though he's not from Louisiana, he's still a die hard fan!!!

And last but not least this Sock Monkey Quilt is mine!!!  I have never made myself anything over the years, and it was my turn to make myself something.  I knew I wanted to make a quilt, but I'm very picky. Everyone else I chose fabric to match their personalities, but it was hard to choose fabric to match my personality.  When I first thought about sock monkey fabric, at first I thought it was too childish for a grown woman. Then I thought it was perfect for me as I am a doll maker which does include sock monkeys and sock dolls!!!  But as I was sewing the layers together,  those crazy money's were all over the place causing crazy lines!!!! Lol

I hope you have enjoyed my trail of quilts!!! All were made from the heart as I'm sure all the receivers of these quilts will enjoy them! There's nothing better than making something handmade for the ones you love!!!
